Your First Visit

WelcomeHere are a few frequently asked questions to assist a first time visitor to Liberty Baptist Church:

Where is Liberty Baptist located?

Liberty Baptist Church meets at 800 Washington Street (Route 138) in beautiful Easton, Massachusetts.

When are your services?

Liberty has several different service times. Sunday morning begins at 10 AM with Sunday School classes for all ages. Service follows immediately after at 11 AM. Sunday evening services are held at 5 PM each week and Wednesday evening services begin at 7 PM. Each service is unique and is designed to be a blessing to you.

Sunday School is just for children, right?

No, Sunday School is for everyone, no matter what age! Many folks are surprised to find out that we have Sunday School classes for adults as well. Liberty currently offers five different classes at 10am:

  • Easton Bible Class: a topical Bible class for adults (taught by Eric Olson)
  • New Beginnings Class: for new believers, those new to Liberty, or those looking for a “refresher course” (taught by Dan Woodward)
  • Liberty Teens: a class for children from grades 7-12 (taught by Pastor Riveiro)
  • Liberty Kids: a class for children from kindergarten to grade 6 (taught by Dianne Riveiro)
  • Tiny Tots: a class for children 4 and under (taught by Tayler Hines)

What should I expect in the service?

We hope that during your visit, you will meet a loving group of people who are ready to make you feel welcome. Church services include God-honoring music and Biblically-centered preaching. We hope that you will be encouraged and challenged by the music, preaching, and fellowship with others. If you have a prayer request or a specific need, there will be someone available to help.

What should I wear?

Liberty Baptist Church does not have a dress code for members or guests. You will find that many members will wear what is considered “Sunday-best attire”, but it is certainly not required. We want you to feel comfortable and welcome when you visit.

Am I expected to participate in the offering?

No. As a guest at Liberty Baptist Church, you are not expected to participate in the offering. We want you to enjoy your time as our guest. We hope that the service will be encouraging and uplifting to you, and that you will be challenged from God’s Word. Please don’t feel that you are obligated to participate.

Do you have a nursery?

Liberty offers a loving nursery for ages 3 and under during all services. Ask a greeter when you arrive for the nursery and they will be glad to assist you.

Can I get a ride?

Our church runs a beautiful 15 passenger van into the community each Sunday morning, and if you live in the area, we will be glad to pick you up for Sunday School and worship service. There is no charge for this service.

Is Liberty ADA accessible?

Although we understand that some church buildings, due to their age, are not accessible for those with disabilities, Liberty Baptist Church is fully ADA-accessible. Our church is welcoming to all with disabilities or special needs. Please contact the church if you have any questions or if there is any way we can help.

If my child has special needs, will our family be welcome?

Our church is very welcoming to families who have children with special needs. If you have any special concerns or questions, please call Pastor Riveiro directly at (508) 565-8281 and he will be glad to tell you how we can help!
