Becoming A Member

“And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”  Acts 2:42

God’s plan for your life is to be an active part of a church where you can grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, be encouraged by other believers in your personal walk with Christ, and have your family strengthened. Liberty Baptist Church receives members three ways:

1. By profession of faith and Scriptural baptism
Upon trusting Christ as your personal Savior, you may request to be baptized by the church and received into membership upon your baptism.

2. By a letter from another Baptist church of like faith
If you have already trusted Christ as your personal Savior, and have been scripturally baptized in another Baptist church of like faith, we will receive their letter of recommendation and you may become a member upon receipt of such letter.

3. By Scriptural baptism
If you have already trusted Christ as your personal Savior, but have not been baptized scripturally, you may request to be baptized by the church and received into membership upon your baptism.
